From February 23, 2007 to March 10, 2007, I had visited the Shanxi Medical University in China. It was a good opportunity to exchange information and ideas with them in our research field of vascular diseases. I made a presentation in a large classroom for about 50 teachers and graduate students of Shanxi Medical University to introduce our research progress on March 8, 2007. After the presentation, we had a good discussion about some issues in this field. This seminar was organized by the Department of Science and Research of Shanxi Medical University, the director of this Department, Professor Che ZHANG, who is a famous professor in this university, gave a good comment on this seminar. I also visited some laboratories of the Department of Pharmacology of Shanxi Medical University and got some information of the research that Associate Professor Xueping ZHANG (She had been a visitor in our department from January 2006 to June 2006 for about six months) and her group are doing. This experience will be a great benefit to our research work.
