研究テーマ 鱗翅目昆虫の環境適応機構に関する研究
昆虫の発生調節機構の分子生物学的研究
研究内容 昆虫(チョウ目昆虫:チョウおよびガ)の環境適応機構の研究。特に、チョウの季節型発現の光周内分泌調節および体色発現の神経内分泌調節に関する研究をしています。また、チョウ目昆虫の休眠調節に関わる内分泌調節に関する研究も行っています。研究対象の昆虫は、キタテハ・ナミアゲハ・ジャコウアゲハ・モンシロチョウ・サカハチチョウ・ヨトウガなどです。
