「インフォメーション展に寄せて」
こうした芸術理念の土台となっているのが、芸術に関するあらゆる命題が被っている言語的性質の理解である。その命題が過去のものであろうと、現在のものであろうと、また命題の構築にいかなる要素が使用されようとも(言語的性質における理解がすべての基礎であることは言を俟たない)。
芸術とは「さまざまな要素の統一体」であって「部分」ではない。 そしてその「統一体」は概念的にしか存在することができない。

Fundamental to this idea of art is the understanding of the linguistic nature of all art propositions, be they past or present, and regardless of the elements used in their construction.
The art is the 'whole' not 'part'. And the 'whole' only exists conceptually.
