This center is composed of a group therapy room and two soundproof rooms, and provides them to each branches of medicine in our hospital. The group therapy room is intended to provide on more effective therapeutic environments when the patients are simultaneously treated as a “group”, for example, the patients who underwent laryngectomy are trained for esophageal speech, the maternity nurses educate expectant mothers and fathers in this room. A day-care program for child psychiatric patients will available soon. The sound proof rooms are used by psychiatrists for medical interview, and by neurologists for electrophysiological examinations like ABR.
