Please carefully check the conditions described below before posting.
This rule applies to all photographs posted on the website managed by the Yamaguchi University Alumni Association (hereinafter referred to as “Yamadai Alumni Association”).
User must understand and agree to the rules when posting.
When the Alumni Association judges that the posting contents are violating the rules, the photo and comments may be rejected without notifying the user.
In addition, even if it has been posted once, the photo or comment may be deleted without notifying the poster.
How to post photos
Please enter the necessary information in the [Required] fields of the submission form located within the ‘Yamaguchi University Photo Studio’.
Photo limitations
Photos that have been taken and owned by the contributor, not by third person, and that have not been intentionally edited.
※Photos that applies to following conditions are prohibited from posting; including, Photos that are considered offensive to public order and morals, photos that include company names or product names for advertising purposes, malicious slander against third person/parties, threaten to infringe on privacy, or violate laws and regulations, or if it is determined that the work is linked to criminal activity. (This rule applies to pseudonyms and comments.)
Handling of copyrights
The copyright of the posted photos belongs to the person who photographed the product, but the photos may be used in following cases without asking individual’s permission; such as, utilized on the website of the Yamaguchi University Alumni Association, on the website of Yamaguchi University, or in printed materials issued by Yamaguchi University.(When photo is utilized in cases beside mentioned above, our office will contact you and ask for your consent).
Contributors shall not exercise moral rights of the author.
Photo used to post is limited to those which does NOT have problems with conditions such as copyright.
Yamadai Alumni Association will not hold any responsibility for loss or damage caused by posting on this web site.
Subject portrait rights, privacy, etc.
Regarding the subject of the photo, contributor must the rights at your own responsibility. In particular, when photo of person or buildings are photographed, it is the photographer’s or contributor’s responsibility to obtain the consent of the person concerned. The Yamadai Alumni Association will NOT hold any responsibilities for trouble caused by the posted photo.
Photo location
We do not accept photographs that are taken at area that the general public cannot enter, such as, private property (other people’s houses, etc.), dangerous places, or places where photography is prohibited.
Photo data
In order to ensure the image quality standard, we recommend that the photo is at least 800 pixels wide. Also, image data is limited to JPEG format up to 4MB.
Posting on website
Submitted photos will be reviewed by the Yamadai Alumni Association and will be posted officially after decisions. Not all photos submitted will be published. Also, skill in photography is not necessarily a criterion for selection.
We may correct obvious errors such as site names, shooting locations, comments, etc.
Please note that due to this process, it may take certain amount of time until your post to be officially posted.
*The fact that the photo is introduced on the Yamadai Alumni Association website cannot be used for profit by the person who posted or by a third party.
Handling of data after submission
Posted photos may be deleted at the discretion of the administration office after a certain period of time. Please be sure to save the photo data yourself, if necessary.
Handling of personal information
In principle, contributor will be introduced by your real name on the homepage.
The personal information you provide when posting will only be used for operation purpose related to the Yamadai Alumni Association website. Please note that your email address will only be used when our office need to contact you regarding your submission.
We may omit the name of the contributor and the title of the photo when using the photo at the Yamadai Alumni Association activities.
