Yamaguchi University celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2015, which was originally established as the Yamaguchi Kohdoh, founded in 1815 by Hoyo Ueda, a feudal retainer of the Choshu Domain. I would like to once again express my gratitude to all of you for the support that has made Yamaguchi University what it is today.
