X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer
( RIX 3000 )Manufactured by Rigaku Industrial Corporation
Irradiating a sample with a beam of X-ray induces secondary X-rays which are characteristics of the elements in the sample. By measuring the wavelength and intensity of these secondary (fluorescent) X-rays, a qualitative and quantitative analysis can be made. The elements from "Be" through "U" can be analyzed in solids, powders, glass beads or liquid.
RIX 3000 has a fully automated programmable operation of Rh/W dual X-ray tube. A combination of Rh and W targets offer a versatile tool for the analysis of the broadest range of elements, light to heavy.
Applications: Element analysis for steels, non-ferrous metals, cements, ceramics, chemicals, petroleum, coals, electronics and magnetic materials; whole field of science, technology, agriculture, geology and environment.
