About the Health Science Center

The Health Science Center is established within the university in order to promote your health. Through physical and mental health consultations and health checkups we try to prevent or promptly detect diseases, and provide first-aid treatment for illness and injuries so that every one of you can lead a happy student life.

Come visit us in any of the following cases

When you are ill, injured, or not feeling wel

You can have a medical examination, receive first-aid treatment, and rest.
* X-ray and blood tests are not conducted, and there are limitations to the medication we can give you.

When you have concerns regarding your physical or mental health

Various staff including a physician, public health nurse, nurse, or counselor are available to listen to you depending on the content of the consultation, and provide you with the necessary information. Please feel free to consult us.

When you need a health certificate

We will issue a health certificate based on the results of your regular health checkup. (A health certificate cannot be issued for the fiscal year unless all the health checkup tests are taken.)

When you want information on health and hygiene

Magazines and articles are lent out.

When you want to do a checkup on yourself

You will find a height / weight / body fat scale, manometer, and vision tester, which are free for you to use during center opening hours.

Using the Health Science Center

The Hokekan can be used free of charge
You do not need your health insurance card, however, it is preferable if you have it with you in case you get referred to a medical institution
Visit us directly at the Health Science Center Counter during opening hours
Consultations can be done by phone or e-mail (except for emergency cases).
