Center for Telemedicine and Telehealth (CT&T) is one of the central facilities which supports communication and collaboration for regional healthcare using the resources of our medical specialists at Yamaguchi University Hospital. We provide the latest information and communication technology for consultation about patient problems, making decisions in clinical practices, and post-graduate learning of the most up-to-date medical knowledge. Some of the leading services available from the center are the patient data exchange, teleradiology, telepathology, and teleconferencing.
Yamaguchi Medical Information Network was launched in 2002 and has since provided the highly secure and reliable networking circumstances specified for health information exchange and management within Yamaguchi prefecture. We support this project in order to realize virtual healthcare communities in Yamaguchi. The Electronic Medical Records of Yamaguchi University Hospital were launched from 2009 and were provided for the regional clinics and hospitals.
