研究内容
心房細動に対するカテーテルアブレーションにおいて、コンタクトフォースカテーテル、クライオバルーン、ホットバルーン、レーザーバルーンといった新規デバイスの成績・特徴・合併症等を評価し、また心房細動に対する抗凝固療法、心機能との関連についても吉賀を中心に研究してきました。現在は2024年に本邦に導入されたパルスフィールドカテーテルによるアブレーションの特徴についての研究を開始しています。心房細動に対するカテーテルアブレーションの成績、治療ストラテジーの構築、リモデリング抑制、血栓形成との関連等は吉賀・小室を中心に、また上大静脈と心房細動との関連は吉賀・久岡を中心に、長期予後や血行動態との関連は吉賀・石口を中心に心房細動診療に関して総合的に研究しています。研究成果は世界最大の循環器学会であるEuropean Society of Cardiologyによる心房細動ガイドライン(2024年版)や、関連学会合同での心房細動カテーテルアブレーションへのエキスパートコンセンサス(2024年版)にも引用されています。房室結節回帰性頻拍におけるHigh-resolution mappingを用いた機序解明について大学院生の橋本が研究を開始しました。突然死や遺伝性不整脈、 デバイス治療、遠隔モニタリング等、より適切な治療選択とその有効性評価に関して福田を中心に研究を行っています。また、基礎研究に関しては大野がUniversity of Kentuckyに留学後帰学し細胞生理や概日リズムを中心とした研究を行っています。
